Durango Aikido invites adults 18 and up to learn Aikido. Win the battles within as Aikido teaches self-refinement through self-defense. Beginning writers and seasoned procrastinators are invited to a 2-part writing class with award-winning local author Jenny Mason. Learn how 20 minutes of daily writing wards off brain aging and relieves anxiety, according to recent neuroscience. Discover the secret of forming a daily writing habit and more. Between the Earth and Sky - Clay, Wood, Feather, Fur. An exhibit of Janet Lever-Wood's ceramics, John Welden's woodwork and John Martin's illustrations. This exhibit exemplifies a natural take on the holiday gift giving season. Work that promotes real materials and earth centered creations from local artists. Make it Real this Holiday Season. There will be an Open House on Friday, December 5th from 5 to 7pm. Meet the artists and enjoy an earthy holiday celebration.

The Durango Arts Center is hosting the 2025 Holiday Gift Gallery Tuesdays - Saturdays from Noon - 6 pm, through December 23. Fine art, and hand crafted items from local artists are for sale, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting education programs at the DAC.

This program is for teens grades 6+

Come and celebrate all forms of gaming! Board games, console video games, Roblox, Minecraft, and more! Some computers are provided, but gamers can bring their own laptop or gaming devices if they prefer. This program is geared for grades 3+ but younger children are welcome to attend with a caregiver.
